Why a one-time payment instead of a subscription?
Pengo runs entirely on your device, there are no servers holding your data, so we have no monthly costs on your behalf. Charging you monthly for something that costs us nothing monthly wouldn't be fair.
What happens to my data if I don't pay?
Nothing. The Free limit only applies to creating new accounts (your third and beyond). All your data stays, nothing gets locked, nothing gets deleted, and accounts you already have are never taken away, even if you have more than two.
How does the license work technically?
After purchase you get a key in the form PENGO-…. Paste it in Settings → License and you're done. Verification happens entirely on your device (a cryptographic signature), the app never connects to the internet because of licensing.
How many devices can I use the key on?
The key isn't tied to a device. Move it to a new device with a data backup, or just paste it in again.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, within 14 days of purchase, no reason needed. This is our contractual guarantee beyond your statutory rights (for digital content, the statutory right of withdrawal lapses once the content is made available). Details in the refund policy.
Who is the seller?
The seller is Paddle.com Market Ltd, which resells the license as Merchant of Record. You enter into the purchase agreement with Paddle, who issues your receipt and remits VAT according to your country. The app itself and the license to it are provided by InSapientia, s.r.o. Details in the Terms of Service.
